Get Into Japanese Music With These Animes

By Binged Bureau - Nov 10, 2020 @ 04:11 pm

Many people are devoted and ardent fans of K-Pop, but not many fall head over heels for J-Pop or Japanese Music. Well, firstly you don’t need to start researching and following Japanese music all together, all of a sudden. There’s a way easier to get immersed in their pop tunes easily. Anime. Anime is the key to getting good quality Japanese music at the expense of following just one. You can follow anime and be a Japanese pop music lover too. Many of the anime have some really great music in them specially produced for them, since it is almost a culture for them and every weeb and otaku out there in the world.

We know how badly we lack a streaming site for anime but for now we have to make it up with Netflix itself and hope that we get better stuff in it. As of now we know, where we, weebs and otakus can get our anime dose.

Here’s a list of animes from Netflix that has some of the amazing tunes and music that you can follow up

Naruto

Naruto

One of the greatest anime, or shows for all sorts ever made in the history of animation and world in general is Naruto. The show has more than 700+ episodes and has never failed to impress people from all sorts of age groups. I mean if someone started Naruto in inception, he/she will be in their 20s or even 30s but none the less the show has been a blessing and a lesson for everyone that followed it. The music though is repetitive in most episodes, as it is impossible to make a song for every episode or scene, the music will still get you going. All sorts of genres for songs were included in this long running show and for veterans of this show, a single tune from the show can bring a smile on their faces. The music composer for Naruto is Yashuharu Takanashi, he is one of the anime music industry’s most renowned composers and also a very prolific one at that too.

Bleach

Another amazing anime that has been, and is still loved by everyone that watches it is Bleach. You cannot watch Bleach and not love it; it’s become like an unwritten rule now for anime lovers. Bleach has music from all the possible musical backgrounds that exist. The twist of Mexican, a splash of violin and some rock and guitar put together made the soundtracks for Bleach mostly. Bleach is also known for its battle music mostly and it doesn’t fail us at all. The music is amazing and one can get addicted to it very easily. The legendary composer behind Bleach is Shiro Sagisu. Also, do listen to other soundtracks from this maestro, it won’t disappoint you.

Devilman Crybaby

Devilman Crybaby

Devilman Crybaby is a very recent anime then the earlier two and the soundtracks are definitely one of the best parts of this anime. The soundtrack of the anime is more towards electronica, and highly electronic music of all sorts. The tone is actually set in that manner as the entire setting is like that. It isn’t a normal setting for anime, its about humanity, death, devil, apocalyptic ending and everything related to such nature and hence the music somehow, oddly very much suits the scenes and falls right on the track. The anime itself is a must watch and the soundtracks are meant to be listened to. The music composer for it is Kensuke Ushio.

Death Note

Death Note

Death Note, another dark and a must watch anime for everyone getting into anime and for someone who hasn’t watched but I doubt if anyone already watching anime might have left this masterpiece out. The music is dark and intense like its premise and it won’t disappoint you in any sense. The battles are always supported by the background music and this makes the scenes even more intense to watch with full on feels that will hit you right at the core. The music composers for Death Note are Hideki Tanuichi and Yoshihisha Hirano, two of the best composers in the industry.

Violet Evergarden

Violet Evergarden

An emotional rollercoaster that follows the journey of a war veteran. The story is so good and touching that only crying about it will make you happy. The titular character Violet is a warrior, soldier, a war veteran who has been used and misused in the battle fields for her extraordinary fighting skills. The soundtrack for this anime has the ability to bring to tears if you just close your eyes and listen to it. The music gives the anime a entirely different feel and makes you go through the emotions together with the scenes and character. The theme song still makes me stop and think about I don’t know what, but I definitely stop everything if I happen to come across that song. The songs for this anime has been composed by Evan Call and has been a terrific composition altogether

These are just a few on the list, these shows itself altogether will make an entire playlist. There are more, most definitely and there will be more. If there is an anime, there will be music that’s for sure, even the little, “boing” sound will be there and that itself can make you feel a lot when you attach yourself to anime.

Happy watching and happy listening!!
