PVR Inox will be celebrating the 25 years of Kareena Kapoor’s career in Bollywood and will be re-releasing some of her most iconic films.
Kareena Kapoor Khan’s latest movie ‘The Buckingham Murders’ is releasing in two languages and has huge hype and fans are excited to see how the actress is choosing many different and intense roles and pulling them off with great integrity. Her performances in ‘Jaane Jaan’ and ‘Lal Singh Chadha’ were appreciated by all, and now she will have a marathon of re-releases at a time when there are many old movies being brought back to the theater again for nostalgia. She is probably going to be the first person from contemporary Bollywood who is having this opportunity and this is well-deserved indeed.
The festival will run from 20 to 27th of September and the movies will be released in 30 cinemas in 15 different cities. The movies that are going to be released are ‘Asoka’ by Santhosh Sivan, ‘Omkara’ by Vishal Bharadwaj, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’ by Karan Johar, ‘Jab We Met’ by Imtiaz Ali and ‘Chameli’ by Sudhir Mishra.
The actress has said, “It is exciting to think that through the film festival people of all generations will get to experience these amazing films, and I can relive the memories tied to these wonderful films.”
