Get Your Christmas Socks Ready! ‘The Claus Family’ Is Coming To Netflix

Netflix is gearing up for its next Christmas release and this time it’s bringing ‘The Claus Family’. The film is all about everyone’s, specially children’s, most favourite thing about Christmas, yes we are talking about Santa Claus.

‘The Claus Family’ follows the story of Jules Claus who is not a fan of Christmas and since his father’s death the previous year he isn’t interested in anything christmasy. As per Netflix, “While his mother is working, Jules is spending lots of time in his grandfather’s toy shop. One day he finds a magic snow globe, which takes him to the farthest parts of the world. He discovers something out of the ordinary: His grandfather is the real Santa Claus! The tradition has been in the family for years and years, and now that his father is no longer there, grandfather Claus has taken on this job once again.”

Netflix further adds, “When grandfather Claus breaks his leg, Jules decides to help him. But before he is able to bring on the Christmas feeling, he has to learn how to love and appreciate the world’s “most wonderful time of the year” again..”

Jan Decleir, Bracha van Doesburgh, Mo Bakker, Pommelien Thijs, Josje Huisman, Eva Van der Gucht, Janne Desmet, Stefaan Degand, Bert Haelvoet, Sien Eggers, Carly Wijs and Wim Willaert will feature in ‘The Claus Family’ on Netflix.

‘The Claus Family’ has been directed by Matthias Temmermans and produced by Dingie & Dutch FilmWorks. It will release on Netflix in Belgium and in the Netherlands on 7th December. ‘The Claus Family’ will launch globally on Netflix in 2021.
