Netflix has just dropped the trailer of its upcoming feature, Ghost Stories, an anthology of four stories from the realm of the paranormal.
Today being Friday the 13th, what better day to talk shop on…. horror!
Each of the four spooky stories of the anthology has been directed by a master of their craft. Dibakar Banerjee, Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap and Karan Johar are the four consummate directors bringing viewers their scariest best.
The dark and forbidding trailer gives ample taste of the spook-fest that awaits viewers when Ghost Stories will premiere at 12 midnight, of 1st January 2020. Yes, the quartet, with diabolical plans on its mind, wants you to begin the New Year, nay, the new decade, with stories that will make the blood curdle in your veins.
A granny who haunts her grandson’s home even after being dead for years; a loathsome creature that will chill you to the bones; a weird nurse for an even weirder old lady; jump scares, spine-chilling settings, the trailer shows it all off in a desolate milieu of dark colours and darker imagery.
Janhvi Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur, Avinash Tiwary, Raghuvir Yadav, Sobhita Dhulipala, Vijay Varma and Pavail Gulati are some of the actors playing pivotal roles in the anthology.
The foursome that brings us Ghost Stories had earlier given us the well-received anthology, Lust Stories, again on Netflix.
While awaiting the premiere, catch a glimpse of the trailer –
