The blockbuster movie Ghostbusters: Afterlife has put a full stop to the anticipation of the OTT release. The movie is set to premiere on Netflix on April 10 2022. This movie was released back on 19 November 2021. The movie had to wait months to arrive on OTT.
After the original Ghostbusters of the 90’s, this is the only movie which lived up to its expectations. The 2016 Ghostbuster was a guilt trip and everyone wants to forget it. But Ghostbusters Afterlife has satisfied both critics and fans.
The movie is directed by Jason Reitman and has a stellar cast with Paul Rudd, Mckenna Grace, and Finn Wolfhard in the lead roles. And the original cast members of the 90’s movie Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson are also returning to reminisce on old memories.
The movie has also reacted very well in Box Office approaching 200 million. The 2016 version of the movie was a sour gulp creating many controversies. And the movie had no connection with the original movie which also became the reason for its flop. But Ghostbusters: Afterlife is a sequel to the 1989 Ghostbusters 2 continuing the story and ignoring the 2016 Ghostbusters.
Netflix has just updated their watchlist, there is no official announcement made by them. But it is confirmed in the info that the movie will start streaming from March 10.
