Giancarlo Esposito is cast in the lead role in an upcoming thriller titled ‘Please Don’t Feed The Children’. The movie will be directed by Destry Allyn Spielberg, the daughter of Steven Spielberg. This will be her debut feature film.
The screenplay of the movie is written by Paul Bertino. It tells the story of a gang of orphan children who have lost their parents after a dangerous viral outbreak. The country is in ruins and the children start out a journey to the south of the country to seek what fate has for them. They find themselves in more danger there. The movie will be a dystopian thriller and let us see if Allyn Spielberg can keep up the legacy of her father and what she does with this wonderful concept.
The movie is being produced by Jason Dubin, Josh Kesselman and Mihael Hagarty. The filmmaker has expressed her excitement on getting to work with an actor of Esposito’s calibre in her very first film. Giancarlo Esposito has been nominated for the Emmy Awards five times. He has been a part of shows like ‘Breaking Bad’ and ‘Better Call Saul’. He also has a pretty interesting lineup of films like ‘Megalopolis’ by Coppla, ‘The Gentlemen’ and many others.
The movie will also have actors like Michelle Dockery, Joshuah Melnick, Emma Meisel, Regan Aliyah, Dean Scott Vacquez and many others. The release date and other details have not been revealed yet. It is also unknown in what stages of production the movie is in.
