Gibson & Mark Wahlberg’s ‘Flight Risk’ To Release On This Date Now!

The release date for Mel Gibson’s directorial venture ‘Flight Risk’ has now been announced. The movie will be hitting the theaters on the 18th of October this year. It is an aviation thriller, and the screenplay of the movie is written by Jared Rosenberg. It stars Mark Wahlberg in the lead role.

The movie tells the story of an aging and psychotic hitman who is employed to neutralize an informant. He goes on to the plane that the informant is going in and tricks an intelligence agent into persuading the pilot to take the plane to a remote place. Gibson himself is playing the role of the informant.

Wahlberg and Gibson have previously worked together in movies like ‘Father Stu’ and ‘Daddy’s Home 2’ and their partnership is quite an interesting one. The two spectacular actors have impressed the audiences time and again. The movie is being produced under the banner of Davis Entertainment, Icon Productions and Hammerstone Studios and it will be distributed by Lionsgate.
