Give A Watch To This Amazing War Drama On Prime Video Starring Brad Pitt

It is hard to keep Brad Pitt’s name out of our heads, right? Yes, some of his previous films, like Ad Astra, Bullet Train, and Babylon, failed to impress in terms of collections. But this does not mean that the ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ actor is losing his stardom. All he needs is one good movie, and he will be back in the game. He is set to appear alongside George Clooney in the upcoming Apple TV+ flick Wolves, directed by Spider-Man No Way Home fame Jon Watts. Meanwhile, you should watch Fury (2014), a highly underrated but amazing film currently available on Prime Video.

Set in April 1945 (World War II), Fury revolves around Sergeant Dan “Wardaddy” Collier, who commands an M4 Sherman battle tank “Fury” and its diverse crew in the film. As his group moves deep inside Nazi Germany, they begin to navigate the destruction caused by the war, moral dilemmas, and difficult missions. The film’s events take place during the final weeks of World War II.

Fury stands out from other war movies due to its strong characters, gritty tone, realistic portrayal of war, and sensational performances, particularly from Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, and Logan Lerman. The rest of the cast, including Michael Pena, Jon Bernthal and others, look impressive as well. The film also benefits from David Ayer’s direction, which focuses more on character development and realistic portrayal of soldiers. He is undoubtedly one of the most polarising directors in Hollywood. But many consider Fury his best directional project.

Roman Vasyanov’s cinematography and Steven Price’s musical score brilliantly uplift the film. Overall, it is a must-watch!

Fury was a box office success as well, earning over $210 million globally against a budget of $68-80 million. It also maintains a ‘fresh’ RT score of 76% (based on 263 reviews). Stream this Brad Pitt starrer now on Prime Video.
