French thriller film ‘Anatomy Of A Fall’ (titled as ‘Anatomie d’une chute’ in French) made the world sit up and take notice of it this week, when it won two significant awards at the prestigious Golden Globes Awards 2024. Anatomy Of A Fall won the Globe for the all-important Best International Feature Film; and it also picked up the Golden Globe for Best Original Screenplay, beating films like Barbie and Oppenheimer for the award.

The film has received critical acclaim as well as audience appreciation for its taut direction, crisp screenplay and stellar performances.
Anatomy Of A Fall follows a woman who is suspected of her husband’s murder, and her blind son who faces a moral dilemma as the sole witness. Sandra Hüller plays the woman trying to prove her innocence in her husband’s death. The film is directed by Justine Triet from a screenplay she co-wrote with Arthur Harari.
