‘Good Night Oppy’, The documentary on the Mars rover sent by NASA, will premiere on the 4th of November. It will have a theatrical release globally in select theaters. It will be another inspirational and emotional tale with a completely unique protagonist in the lead. It is a documentary, but it does not make the movie any less interesting.
The 1 hour 45 minutes film will tell the story of ‘Opportunity’ the Mars expedition rover from NASA that is lovingly called ‘Oppy’. Oppy was expected to stay there intact only for 90 days, but shocking everybody and leaving them to delight, it managed to explore Mars for nearly 15 years.
Director and producer Ryan White has directed the film. He is also known for directing documentaries like ‘Serena’, ‘The Case Against 8’, ‘Assassins’, ‘The Keepers’ for Netflix and many more and also producing them. The music of the movie is given by Blake Neely and it is distributed by Amazon Studios.
The director’s expertise in making wonderful documentaries makes it even more intriguing. The movie is all set to release in theaters on November 4th, and it will be streamed soon after from the 23rd of November. It will be available to watch on Amazon Prime Video. The movie will be in theatres for a very limited time. So, make sure to watch it in your nearest theaters when it releases, because it is indeed a visual treat as well as a great inspirational story.
