Netflix is all set to drop a series of documentary shows featuring prominent celebrities, including a docuseries based on the life of the globally popular celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. Titled ‘Being Gordon Ramsay’, the project will explore the culinary experiences of Hell’s Kitchen’s foul-mouthed chef at 22 Bishopsgate, London’s second tallest building. The streamer made the official announcement about the docuseries at the Edinburgh TV Festival on Wednesday. Deadline first broke the news.
Dionne Bromfield will serve as the docuseries’ helmer, with Lisa Edwards, Deborah Sargeant, and Amanda Westwood serving as the project’s executive producers. Jess Holder is the production executive.
In addition, the docuseries will also cover Ramsay’s personal life and his family, as the MasterChef fame tries to balance his professional commitments and his family life.
‘Being Gordon Ramsay’ will be bankrolled by Studio Ramsay Global. The series will be filmed for nearly nine months. Netflix is yet to announce a release window for the project.
Apart from Gordon Ramsay, celebrity and fashion icon Victoria Beckham has also received a new docuseries on Netflix, which will revolve around her fashion and beauty business and her efforts to reinvent her business as Creative Director. Stay tuned for more updates.
