Sophie Turner, the actress who plays the feisty Sensa Stark in sensational fantasy adventure Game of Thrones, has gone all fiery in real life too. Without ever referring to Ant-man star Evangeline Lilly by name, the pregnant Turner blasted the actress for her flippant attitude and comments about isolating oneself amidst the deadly Coronavirus pandemic.
Sophie Turner’s acerbic comments referencing Lilly’s refusal to self isolate came during an Instagram Live she appeared on along with pop star hubby, Joe Jonas.
Evangeline Lilly, the star of movies such as the Ant-man franchise, Lost and Hobbit, was roundly criticised for her comments regarding self-isolating to prevent the rapid spread of Coronavirus last week. The actress said it was “business as usual” for her family, as she posted the following on Instagram, “Some people value their lives over freedom, some people value freedom over their lives. We all make our choices … where we are right now feels a lot too close to Marshall Law for my comfort already, all in the name of a respiratory flu.”
Her careless comments, coming at a time when the virus rages on unabated, drew the ire of Sophie ‘Sensa’ Turner.
Without mentioning Lilly by name, Turner said on Instagram, “Stay inside. Don’t be f—ing stupid. Even if you count your freedom over your health, I don’t give a f— about your freedom. You could be infecting other people, other vulnerable people around you by doing this. So stay inside guys! It’s not cool, it’s not big, and it’s not clever… And that’s the tea.”
Sophie Turner’s last comment “And that’s the tea” clearly points to the fact that her tirade is aimed at Evangeline Lilly and her nonchalant attitude. Lilly’s aforementioned offending comments were accompanied by the photo of a cup of tea.
