Barry will continue to run for CW! The latest contract of Grant Gustin has confirmed the arrival of the ninth season of CW’s flagship show, The Flash. It means we are not seeing the end of the Arrowverse anytime soon.
The latest reports have stated that Gustin has signed a one-year deal to appear in Season 9. A multi-year deal was also on the table. But the actor refused to accept that one. Additionally, the new deal guarantees to drop $200,000 per episode in the actor’s bank account. Furthermore, various rumours have hinted that the upcoming ninth entry will contain a fewer number of episodes as compared to Season 8. It may treasure up to 15 episodes only.
The Flash is the only show in the Arrowverse that is getting a ninth season. Stephen Amell’s Arrow ended after Season 8. It means the former show will become the longest-running show in the history of Arrowverse with the arrival of its forthcoming season. Will it be the final nail in the coffin for The Flash? Well, it all depends upon Gustin’s decision.
There is no doubt that Iris’ time sickness will decide the conclusion of Season 8. It may also affect her relationship with Barry. CW will resume airing the eighth season of The Flash on March 9.
