Greta Gerwig’s immensely successful ‘Barbie’ has been this year highlight all across the globe and its digital debut has been highly awaited.
While we already know that the film was to be made available for streaming on rent BookMyShow’s streaming platform BMS from today, ‘Barbie’ is also available to rent on Prime Video now with 12 audio versions for ₹499.
Directed by Greta Gerwig, ‘Barbie’ is a fantasy comedy drama that follows Barbie and Ken are having the time of their lives in the colorful and seemingly perfect world of Barbie Land. However, when they get a chance to go to the real world, they soon discover the joys and perils of living among humans.
The film is based on Barbie dolls by Mattel, and is the first live action barbie film after multiple animated films and specials. Releasing alongside Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’, ‘Barbie’ received huge critical acclaim and also was a massive success at the box office.
The film earned over $1.4 billion becoming the highest grossing film of 2023, highest grossing film directed solely by a woman and also the highest-grossing film ever released by Warner Bros.
