The teaser for long awaited ‘The Buckingham Murders’ is out now and its one gripping tale set in foreign lands. Helmed by Hansal Mehta, ‘The Buckingham Murders’ will release in cinemas on 13th September, 2024.
In the teaser, Detective Seargent Jaspreet Bhamra (Kareena Kapoor Khan), a tough cop is joining at a new post and soon enough she gets to handle the case of a missing child hailing from an Indian family. What follows is a gripping and intriguing set of events with mysteries that remain to be solved.
‘The Buckingham Murders’ is a crime thriller drama that follows a grieving cop who loses her child to murder and moves to another town where she’s tasked with investigating the disappearance of a missing child. The film explores the themes of trauma, grief, the immigrant experience, and human need for closure.
Kareena Kapoor Khan’s role as a British-Indian detective is said to be inspired by Kate Winslet’s character in ‘Mare of Easttown’. The film also marks Kapoor Khan’s first production venture alongside Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor of Balaji Motion Pictures.
Directed by Hansal Mehta and written by Aseem Arora, Raghav Raj Kakker, and Kashyap Kapoor, ‘The Buckingham Murders’ stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Keith Allen, Ranveer Brar, Ashutosh Tandon, Kapil Redekar, Rukku Nahar, Haqi Ali, and Chris Wilson among others.
