If you missed watching Ground Zero in theatres, here’s some news. The film is now available to rent on Amazon Prime Video for just ₹349.
Ground Zero tells the story of a BSF officer, Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey, played by Emraan Hashmi. The film is based on real events and takes us back to the 2003 operation that led to the killing of dreaded terrorist Ghazi Baba, also known as Rana Tahir Nadeem. It’s a story of courage, sacrifice, and patriotism that failed to connect with the audiences. The movie has a trendy patriotic theme but the execution is not something that people liked. Also, the marketing was underwhelming.
Directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar and backed by big names like Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment, the movie delivers both thrill and emotion. Alongside Emraan Hashmi, the film also stars Sai Tamhankar and Zoya Hussain in supporting roles.
You can now rent Ground Zero and watch it for Rs 349. However, people actually ignored this film on the big screens. Thus, there does not seem to be a lot of hope from this renting model. But, as the tradition says, the film will be available on Prime Video after a few weeks and perhaps a bored audience will watch the movie then. But if you are worried about what to watch this weekend, then you will find all the important titles on our streaming now section.
