The trailer for Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur starrer action crime thriller drama ‘Gumraah’ is out now and it’s true to its genre. Helmed by Vardhan Ketkar, ‘Gumraah’ will release in cinemas on 7th April, 2023.
Coming from the makers of ‘Kabir Singh’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, ‘Gumraah’ trailer begins with murder on one rainy night where a man dressed in yellow raincoat brutally kills another man with a screwdriver. What follows is an investigation to find out that smart criminal who planned that murder so well.
The police soon catches the man looking similar to the one who committed the murder, but the big twist comes next when there are two such men captured by the police who look the same. And then begins the quest to find who amongst them is the real killer.
While one is a more sophisticated working professional, other is a more cool, free and flamboyant one who lives his life to the fullest. In fact the forensic evidence complicates the case even more when samples collected from crime site are of two different individuals. Finding out who is the one who actually committed the crime is what ‘Gumraah’ is all about.
Directed by Vardhan Ketkar and written by Aseem Arora and Magizh Thirumeni, in ‘Gumraah’ during the investigation of a man’s murder, the police find two probable suspects, who look alike but do not know each other. However, the case gets complicated when new facts unravel.
‘Gumraah’ stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Mrunal Thakur, Ronit Roy, Deepak Kalra and Vedika Pinto among others. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani. ‘Gumraah’ is a T-Series and Cine1 Studios film and will release in theatres on 7th April, 2023. Post theatrical streaming rights for the film have been acquired by Netflix.
