Haddi On Zee5 Relies On One Overexposed Factor

Let’s start with a little digression. If you happen to be a Bollywood geek who loves watching interviews then you might have come across several interviews of Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She is an insanely powerful actress whose acting skills are one of the best we have ever seen. But she always has one complaint, that people just appreciate her looks and forget to acknowledge her hard work. If you happen to look at the career of the actress then her complaint is absolutely justified.

This is what happens when visuals/looks are the sole attraction of a film or even a star. Because visuals can be used to support a point, it can’t be a point as a whole. Because when that happens, the whole film becomes an absolute bore.

Now, let’s let go of the digression and come straight to the point. If you happen to look at the whole campaign of Haddi on Zee5 then you would notice exactly the same problem that we talked about. And the look is not even a mystery, it is everywhere.

The movie relies on looks and only the looks of Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The trailer was average, there is nothing extraordinary known about the story so far … but Zee5 wants you to watch the film for the looks of Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

How many people will buy that? Let’s see as the whole film comes out to be.

We hope that the film actually has substance and does not come out just as a regular revenge thriller with a transgender character who horrifies people in 2023.
