Harry Potter Fame Daniel Radcliffe Plans To Make His Directional Debut

Daniel Radcliffe has appeared in many wild or unorthodox projects after departing from the Harry Potter movie series. Still, fans know him as “The Boy Who Lived”. Apart from his film roles, he also has many television and stage credits. His recent project, The Lost City with stars Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum, is doing great in terms of box office collection and critical reception. It currently stands at a ‘75%’ fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. And now, he has expressed his desire to helm a movie in future.

Radcliffe recently had a chat with Empire where he disclosed his feelings about directing a film:

“I’ve got an idea for something that I have written,” Radcliffe said. “I’m hopefully going to direct. It will be in a couple of years’ time because the next 18 months at least are pretty much accounted for already.”

However, the British actor didn’t reveal too much about his project. But he admitted that it shares a strong connection with the entertainment industry.

It seems like Radcliffe has tried almost every crazy or strange thing to get rid of Harry Potter’s fame. Just look at his filmography! Projects like Horns, Swiss Army Man, Imperium, Jungle, Guns Akimbo, and many more show the actor’s failed attempts to get out of the shell of ‘Harry Potter popularity’. Although, these movies treasure some of his best acting performances.

Daniel Radcliffe’s The Lost City is currently running in theatres. Stay tuned for more updates.
