Has Indian Predator Failed To Revive The House Of Secrets’ Horror?

The all-new crime documentary called Indian Predator The Butcher Of Delhi is streaming on Netflix India. It is based on a serial killing incident that shocked Delhi Police and created an eerie environment amongst the residents. No one knew what would follow or if they might be the next victim.

The three-episode series started streaming on 20th July and since then it is trending as the number 1 series in India.

Netflix even made Indian Predator because it saw what a humongous success “The House Of Secrets: The Burari Deaths” was. No doubt the series based on mass cult suicide was lauded not only by the critics but enormously by the audience too.

It made its way into memes and was one of the most popular Indian ventures in conversation.

Now the question is, is Indian Predator The Butcher Of Delhi a similar success?

The answer is NO.

We realize that the series has been trending number 1 for the past few days and it may very well garner decent views. But that’s not the whole picture.

The crime documentary is the ONLY INDIAN SERIES trending in the top 10. All the other series are international titles, so it is pretty obvious that there isn’t any solid competition in the show.

It is trending because it had to, given the privilege of a new series.

But, it is not as buzzy as the previous crime documentary on social m edia and binge-watchers.

Thus a great endeavor but something didn’t work and it is most likely the efforts Netflix puts into promotion.
