HBO’s Abomination The Idol Now Streaming With Low Ratings!

Normally, HBO shows are a winner all the way. They get super high ratings. Also, they are usually buzzier and better than an average Netflix show.

But, their latest show doesn’t prove the same thing. Even after having some really big stars, it is getting low ratings and trolling.

Anyways, we are talking about The Idol. The series is finally streaming on JioCinema.

The series is led by The Weeknd who is easily one of the biggest music stars in the world. He has a huge fan base that would certainly be attracted by the show. Also, it has Lily-Rose Depp who is the daughter of Johnny Depp.

The Idol, tells the story of Jocelyn (played by Lily-Rose Depp) who takes center stage as an ambitious young pop star. Following a tumultuous period that forces her tour to be abruptly called off due to a nervous breakdown, Jocelyn is determined to regain her status as America’s most alluring performer. Along her journey, she becomes entangled in a captivating and intricate bond with Tedros (portrayed by Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye), a charismatic self-help guru who leads a modern-day cult.

Even after having an intriguing premise, The Idol doesn’t seem to impress the audience. The show has a rating of a mere 4.5 on IMDb while only 25% of critics score on Rotten Tomatoes.

But even after that, if western music attracts you then you may wanna give this show a try.
