Nostalgia is taking a front seat in Bollywood right now, as many old movies are re-releasing right now.
Starting from “Rockstar” to Now “Gangs Of Wasseypur”, the cult classics are making a comeback in Bollywood to remind the audience about their good old movies.
With the release of Rockstar people went all over crazy once again with “Nadaan Parinde” and “Laila Majnu” gaining the hype they deserved.
But now with the re-release of “Tumbaad” and “Gangs Of Wasseypur”, “Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein” can be a very lost cause.
It is a cult classic in general but with “Tumbaad” re-release, which didn’t receive the hype the time when it was first released, “Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein” has to fight for its position, which we can assume will be a tough game.
R. Madhavan, Dia Mirza and Saif Ali Khan’s, “Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein” grossed 10.17 cr when it was released, and fans are eagerly waiting to revisit their old lane, but with giants like “Tumbaad” and GOW, this won’t be a cake walk.
The love triangle of the movie attracted a large audience in 2001, but in 2024 the tables have turned and now love triangles and cheap romantic dramas are not really preferred.
Although it’s a matter of time we have to wait, and see what time brings us on the plate.
