Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is getting released after about a month. The series is easily one of the most magnanimous you can watch on Indian OTT. After all the grandeur of Sanjay Leela Bhansali is coming to the digital entertainment space for the first time so the announcement had to be great.
What happens normally?
Netflix just goes to their social media handle and announces the release date. At best, they would try to make a buzz but only through social media. Rarely do we see a high octane event just for the announcement of a release date. This kind of treatment is rare even for a theatrical mammoth.
Regardless, the cast of Heeramandi except Aditi Rao Hydari (better reasons to skip) gathered to announce the release date. The illustrious event was followed by a drone light show which announced the release date.
It is actually a very grand announcement and something that stands tall according to the international standard. Everything is going like a grand fairy tale for Netflix India as of now. It is the duty of the content to impress the audience. Let’s hope that the content lives up to the expectations of the audience and we experience a grand series finally.
