Though, this song is the first release on Bhansali’s Music, his new record label. The song acts as an introduction to the series, giving listeners a good time of Bhansali’s trademark artistic brilliance, which is now being brought to the digital medium with Heeramandi.

Their passionate dancing in traditional attire is shown taking place against the cinematic backdrops of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s productions. As is customary for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movies, Heeramandi’s soundtrack promises to be outstanding. A source claims that the series will have six to seven visually striking songs, which would be a first for OTT shows with such a large musical budget. Known for his hands-on approach to film music, Bhansali spent a year curating the soundtrack for Heeramandi, a project that he was very passionate about.
The story revolves around power struggles between rivals Mallikajaan and Fareedan over control of Heeramandi, a region dominated by courtesans, is told in Heeramandi. Alam, Mallikajaan’s youngest daughter, who is the last hope in this struggle for dominance, comes into the limelight. As Alam’s trip starts, she must make an important decision to give up control and choose love. The series tells an epic tale of love, power, betrayal, and the unwavering against the backdrop of pre-independence India during the freedom fight.
