‘Hellboy: The Crooked Man’ Trailer Shows Jack Kesy As The Iconic Half-Demon

Millennium has unveiled the first trailer for Brian Taylor’s “Hellboy: The Crooked Man”, with Jack Kesy playing the iconic red-coloured half-demon. This is the fourth Hellboy movie based on the popular comic book character created by Mike Mignola. The first two films were helmed by Guillermo del Toro, which had Ron Perlman as the protagonist. Stranger Things and Thunderbolts fame, David Harbour, appeared in the 2019 reboot, directed by Neil Marshall.

Kesy is the third actor to portray Hellboy after Perlman and Harbour. The leading man is best known for his work in 12 Strong (2018), Deadpool 2 (2018), Without Remorse (2021), and The Killer (2023).

The latest trailer for “The Crooked Man” teases that this reboot project will serve as a superhero horror project. The clip teases many horror scenes, including a snake slowly strangling a woman. It culminates with the half-demon protagonist looking towards an evil laugh.

The upcoming Jack Kesy starrer has to perform well at the box office, considering how all the previous entries struggled in terms of collections. “Hellboy: The Golden Army” (2008) is the best and highest-grossing entry in the franchise so far, with a global collection of over $168 million.

Apart from Kesy, “Hellboy: The Crooked Man” stars Jefferson White, Adeline Rudolph, Joseph Marcell, Leah McNamara, and more. It is yet to receive a theatrical release window from Millennium. Stay tuned for more updates. Check out the trailer below!
