Henry Cavill’s Exit From The Witcher Will Be Heroic; Unlike DCU

This year was not very good for Henry Cavill. The actor was greatly playing Geralt Of Rivia in the Netflix series The Witcher. Out of nowhere, DC Studios approached him to revive Superman in Man Of Steel 2.

For playing Superman, the actor left his character of Geralt Of Rivia. But soon afterward, Man Of Steel got scrapped and Henry Cavill was left with neither Geralt Of Rivia nor Superman.

All of this happened due to the whimsical decisions by DC Studios that fails to respect not only its fans but also actors.

Regardless, Netflix is much better than them. After the exit of Cavill, they hired Liam Hemsworth for playing the character.

“Geralt’s big turn is about giving up neutrality and doing anything that he has to do to get to Ciri [Freya Allan]. And to me, it’s the most heroic sendoff that we could have, even though it wasn’t written to be that,” said The Witcher’s showrunner Lauren Hissrich in a statement.

Even Henry Cavill welcomed Liam Hemsworth as the new Geralt Of Rivia. Thankfully, the actor has starred and is set to executive produce the Amazon Prime Video series Warhammer 40,000. We may see him doing that soon and also promise to bring all the updates from the show.
