Ever since the South Korean zombie-horror series ‘All of Us Are Dead’ started streaming from 28th January on Netflix, its diehard fans must be eagerly waiting for an update on the show’s second season. Netflix has still not officially announced about the show getting renewed for Season-2.
But now, it seems that we might soon be getting an update or some information on the eagerly anticipated series ‘All of Us Are Dead’ Season-2. And that may happen during the upcoming 5-day virtual Netflix Geeked event, which is scheduled to be held between 6th June and 10th June. The event usually features updates, posters, trailers, etc. from several Netflix films and series.
We are expecting an update on ‘All of Us Are Dead’ Season-2 on the Netflix Geeked event on the first day, that is, on 6th June itself. We say so because on the Geeked Week 2022 poster, ‘All of Us Are Dead’ has been mentioned alongside other Netflix shows like ‘Alice in Borderland’, ‘Shadow and Bone’, ‘Locke and Key’, and ‘Vikings: Valhalla’. These shows have been renewed for further seasons, whose release dates are awaited.
Although the poster has not specifically mentioned the words ‘All of Us Are Dead’ Season-2, however, chances are high that there should hopefully be an update on the show getting renewed for a second season. That would make sense as it’s been more than four months since the show’s first season came out on Netflix.
Moreover, ‘All of Us Are Dead’ Season-1 is currently amongst the top 10 non-English series on Netflix as per viewing hours in the first 28 days and is only behind ‘Money Heist’ and ‘Squid Game’. So, that renewal criteria seems to be fulfilled. Still, we would have to wait for an official announcement for the show’s second season renewal during the Netflix Geeked event.
Based on the webtoon ‘Now at Our School’, ‘All of Us Are Dead’ is a South Korean show where high school students are forced to fight a zombie outbreak in a battle for survival, in order to avoid becoming the infected creatures themselves.
