Here Are The Best Animal Attack Movies To Watch Over The Weekend!

Despite having a particular genre as favorite we all love movies on Animal Attacks and why do we say that? Okay all the other horror stuffs that we watch like aliens or ghosts they are scary but in our mind we know that these are supernatural and won’t happen in real life ( touchwood ). But animals are that part of nature which we encounter everyday and this is what makes these movies more frightening. For example you wouldn’t think of a dog scaring you ( except for some people ) but when you watch Cujo, all your beliefs go for a walk. In the past we have had some of the most amazing movies which has animal attacks as the major plot and this genre has received so much love from the audience that people generally flock to theatres to watch it. But since there are restrictions in theatres we can here to suggest you some good and new animal attack movies which are available on various streaming platforms.

Crawl1. Crawl ( 2019 ) ( Animal – Alligators )

The movie is directed by Alexandre Aja while it was backed by Paramount Pictures. The horror thriller released in 2019 and the story follows a young woman who is a swimmer and gets trapped with her father and dog in the crawl space of their home in a raging hurricane. But they are not alone as they are surrounded by Alligators who are thirsty for blood!

Howl2. Howl ( 2015 ) ( Animal – Werewolves )

The 2015 movie was directed by Paul Hyett. The movie revolves around a group of passengers who after the sudden stopping of their train in the middle of nowhere gets trapped in the company of werewolves who have sensed fresh meat and are clearing them out one by one.

King Kong3. King Kong ( 2005 ) ( Animal – Gorilla )

Well well well who isn’t familiar with the great King Kong the monstrous Gorilla of Skull Island. The movie follows a filmmaker who for his next work ventures into a mysterious island known as Skull Island with his actors and crew. But little did they know that the island is full of ancient creatures who were supposed to be dead by now. The group meets a gigantic gorilla who goes by the name Kong and decide to bring him into the city. What follows is…. a bloodbath.

The reboot of the King Kong franchise. The movie released in 2017 and starred Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L Jackson in the leads. It was directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts. The movie follows a bunch of scientists who goes into a mysterious island names Skull Island to find out about it’s native people and animals that live their but are welcomed by a gigantic gorilla.

There is something about snakes that creeps the hell out of everyone but what about the snakes that are huge in size starts stalking and later hunting? Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid follows a group of scientists who venture into a tropical island is Borneo in search for a flower which holds the capability of extending human life. But instead they find themselves face to face with giant man eating anacondas who follows everywhere they go.

The Meg6. The Meg ( 2018 ) ( Animal – Shark )

If you have watched Jaws countless times and are looking for a movie which is in the same place or should I say water? The Meg is your bet! The movie released in 2018 and follows a group of scientists who while on a rescue mission deep into the pacific ocean floor encounters a 75 foot long megalodon shark. The movie stars Jason Statham, Ruby Rose, Rainn Wilson.

This 2014 directorial by Gareth Edwards was the first film in the Monsterverse. The movie follows the rise of Godzilla from the depths of the ocean when the MUTOs ( Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organism) escape and threaten humanity. The movie stars Bryan Cranston, Ken Watanabe, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen and others

Rampage8. Rampage

The 2018 film starring Dwayne Johnson, Naomi Harris is directed by Brad Peyton. The movie features George who is a gorilla and has become of enormous size after a rogue experiment. He has also become a raging gorilla. But when two other mutated animals wreak havoc in Chicago, Davis Okoye a primatologist must team up with George to save up the city.

Piranha 3D9. Piranha 3D

The remake of the OG 1978 Piranha, doesn’t exactly matches the original but is an enjoyable affair and has developed a cult following over the years. The movie follows a sudden release of the ancient carnivores piranhas from the depths of the lake after an underwater tremor cracks open the floor. Now, it is upon the local cop and a young group to finish these creatures untill they consume everyone on their path.
