A Hard Day tells the story of a detective who investigates murders. Lee Sun-gyun, the detective, accidentally kills off a man. The mistake is quite heavy and he cannot afford getting caught. So Lee hides the body of the man in his mother’s coffin on the very day of her funeral. He is continuously stalked by a mysterious man who claims to be witness to the event and he blackmails Lee.
The film stars actors like Lee Sun-kyun, Cho Jin-Woong, Jung Man-sik, Park Bo-gum, Heo Jung-eun. The actors have given wonderful performances in the movie and there is no doubt you will love it. The film was selected to compete in the Director’s Fortnight category of the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. The wonderful cinematography of the film is handled by Kim Tae-seong and the music is composed by Mok Young-jin. A Hard Day went on to be nominated for many prestigious awards and won a lot of them.
