Here’s a Sneak Peek of Fresh Footage From ‘Jurassic Park: Dominion’

As it’s often said that the best is saved for the last. This probably holds true for Universal’s CinemaCon 2021 session that revealed behind the scenes fresh footage presented by Universal Pictures for the highly anticipated film ‘Jurassic Park: Dominion’. The exciting sneak peek was part of Universal’s production slate until March 2022.

CinemaCon is an annual movie theatre industry tradeshow and one of the most important gatherings for the worldwide motion picture theatre industry. It’s currently being held in Las Vegas from August 23 and will conclude on August 26.

Jurassic Park: Dominion’ is the sixth film in the Jurassic Park franchise, and the third installment in the Jurassic World trilogy. The footage reportedly revealed snippets of Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard’s encounter with dinosaurs. Besides, the footage further confirmed the speculated presence of the franchise veteran trio of Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, and Laura Dern in the latest film.

Regarding the latest dinosaur installment, the film’s director Colin Trevorrow had said that “This movie asks the single question: What if dinosaurs lived among us? Would we be safe?” And the answer was apparently ‘No’. The said footage also showed BTS clips of franchise creator and iconic filmmaker Steven Spielberg on the sets of the first Jurassic Park film which came out in the year 1993.

(Spoilers Ahead) In our earlier article, we had made you aware of the exclusive IMAX preview for the film and also gave our readers a brief description of the preview footage. That the previews revealed two timelines – the 65 million years old Cretaceous period and the present day. It also included a T-Rex vs Giganotosaurus fight and that’s when ‘the’ mosquito was shown sucking the defeated dinosaur’s blood. (Spoilers End).

‘Jurassic Park: Dominion’ is slated for a grand theatrical release on 10th June 2022 and the highly anticipated movie is expected to be a fitting conclusion of a long-standing and cult franchise.

Director Colin Trevorrow had earlier said that “This is the movie that I’ve been waiting to make from the beginning.” The feeling seems to be mutual because the audiences too have been wanting to watch such a film from the beginning.
