We all know about Hugh Jackman reprising his iconic superhero role of Wolverine in Deadpool 3 (now a part of MCU), starring Ryan Reynolds. The announcement of his inclusion in the third Deadpool entry has inspired thousands of fans to come up with numerous theories regarding the entry of other X-Men in the MCU besides Logan.
Apart from Jackman, the return of other X-Men, including Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), Stefan Kapicic (Colossus), and Shioli Kutsuna (Yukio), has been confirmed so far. These are the characters that have interacted with Wade Wilson so far. However, we have never watched these characters actually interact with the original X-Men.
Additionally, we know that MCU is juggling with the concept of Multiverse these days. This scenario could pave the way for the arrival of the original X-Men into the MCU. We have already witnessed Patrick Stewart’s Professor X in Doctor Strange 2. So, we should expect other X-Men characters to appear in future MCU entries.
Various reports have revealed that Deadpool 3 may bring back several X-Men characters from 20th Century Fox, including Magneto. The upcoming Deadpool installment is expected to explore the “dark nature” of the character. In addition, we may see him protecting the ones he cares about in the film. The popular ‘Ultimatum’ comic run will serve as the inspiration for Magneto’s arc in Deadpool 3.
The ‘Ultimatum’ comic book series treasures one of the most brutal versions of Magneto. In this storyline, his obsession with mutant supremacy forces him to go to extreme lengths, resulting in horrendous consequences for both humans and mutants.
Although, it is not clear who will play Magneto in Deadpool 3. Helmed by Shawn Levy, the forthcoming Wade Wilson feature has Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, and Hugh Jackman in the leading roles. Stay tuned for more updates.
