Sailesh Kolnau’s second instalment of the HIT universe ‘HIT: The Second Case’ is now available for rent on Prime Video. And that’s not it, the crime thriller drama starring Adivi Sesh will soon be available for subscribers too, without any extra payment.
‘HIT 2’ started its theatrical run on 2nd December, 2022 and received moslty positive reviews from both critics and public alike. Moreover, the film also performed well at the box office with good collection numbers. It was second huge success for lead star Adivi Sesh in 2022 after ‘Major’.
While ‘HIT2’ is currently available for rent on Prime Video, it will start streaming without any extra cost for regular subscribers from 6th January, 2023 onwards.
‘HIT: The Second Case’ follows Krishna Dev aka DK, a laid back cop who works in Andhra Pradesh’s Homicide Intervention Team (HIT) as he starts investigating a gruesome murder mystery. As KD unravels the layers is the crime, the stakes rise unbelievably high and the threat comes unusually close.
Written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu, HIT2 or ‘HIT: The Second Case’ stars Adivi Sesh in the lead role as investigating officer Krishna Dev aka KD. Other cast members include Meenakshi Chaudhary, Rao Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani, Pisano Krishna Murali, Komalee Prasad, Srinath Maganti and Srikanth Iyengar among others.
S. Manikandan has done the cinematography for ‘HIT2’ with editing by Garry Bh. Original background score for the film is composed by John Stewart Eduri. Presented by Nani, ‘HIT2’ is produced by Prashanti Tiprineni under her Wall Poster Cinema banner.
