Season 1 of Bhuvan Bam’s debut series ‘Taaza Khabar’ ended with an interesting cliff hanger where Vasya (Bam) finds a predictive news that he has been murdered. Ever since fans have been waiting for the second season which was announced earlier this year and now Disney+ Hotstar has unveiled the release date for ‘Taaza Khabar’ Season 2.
The reveal came with an announcement video where Vasya can be heard saying in a voice over that when one sees death from close quarters his/her whole life flashes in front of him/her and something similar is seen in the visuals on screen. He also reflects on how his blessing turns into a curse as he was once a kind-hearted man who slowly becomes a megalomaniac.
Created and written by Abbas Dalal and Hussain Dalal and directed by Himank Gaur, ‘Taaza Khabar’ is a fantasy comedy thriller drama starring Bhuvan Bam, Mahesh Manjrekar, Shriya Pilgaonkar, JD Chakravarthy, Devendra Bhojani, Prathamesh Parab, Nitya Mathur, Shilpa Shukla and Mithilesh Chaturvedi.
‘Taaza Khabar’ Seaosn 1 marked the OTT debut of popular YouTuber Bhuvan Bam who also produced the show alongside Rohit Raj under his BB Ki Vines banner. The show received mixed to positive reviews with praises for the storyline and performances. ‘Taaza Khabar’ season 2 will premiere only on Disney+ Hotstar on 27th September, 2024.
