Here’s When ‘Court: State Vs A Nobody’ Is Coming To OTT

Telugu legal drama ‘Court: State Vs A Nobody’ released last month and will soon complete the four week theatrical window post which it will be available on Netflix, its streaming rights partner. But when’s the question?

Well, ‘Court: State Vs A Nobody’ will be out on Netflix on 11th April, 2025 clashing with Tamil black comedy ‘Perusu’ that’s also coming to the streamer on the same date.

Directed by Ram Jagadeesh in his feature debut, ‘Court: State Vs A Nobody’ is a courtroom drama that follows the legal battle after a boy is wrongly accused of a crime. He is presented by a passionate defense attorney who fights against prejudice and corruption in the justice system.

‘Court: State Vs A Nobody’ has not only performed well at the box office but has also been praised by critics who call it a gripping courtroom drama with outstanding performances. The film is said to be emotionally strong while conveying a relevant social message.

There were issues raised about a sluggish first half and the film being slightly off-base. Critics also noted that ‘Court: State Vs A Nobody’ might not be groundbreaking but it does have a captivating power backed by strong writing and performances.

Given such positive reviews and film’s box office performance, ‘Court: State Vs A Nobody’ is expected to do good on its digital debut as well where it will get to capture a larger and more linguistically diverse audience base across the country. This might lead to a second successful round for the film if the word of mouth does its wonder upon the OTT launch.

Produced by Prashanti Tipirneni and presented by Nani under Wall Poster Cinemas, ‘Court: State vs A Nobody’ stars Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Harsh Roshan, Sridevi and Sivaji in prominent roles.
