After the decent success of Bob Biswas, the ZEE5 streaming platform is coming with a brand new comedy series, Kaun Banegi Shikharwati. The series received the green light last year. However, the ongoing COVID pandemic forced the makers to postpone the show indefinitely. The present conditions in India are stable currently. This scenario has given a chance to many producers to dispatch their projects or continue their shoots. Kaun Banegi Shikharwati is next in line now.
The plot revolves around Raja Mritunjay, the king of a fictional place called Shikharwati. He has four daughters who are also the princesses of his kingdom. The sisters hate each other. However, they reunite after a long gap of six years to participate in a royal con-test.
The series stars Naseeruddin Shah, Lara Dutta, Soha Ali Khan, Kritika Kamra, Cyrus Sahukar, Anya Singh, and other acting talents. The leading man, Shah, has been hailed as the ‘Nalayak King’ in the series. He is also responsible for organising the con-test for his daughters.
Kaun Banega Shikharwati will premiere in January 2022 on the ZEE5 streaming platform. The makers have not revealed the exact date of its premiere. We will inform you soon about it. Stay tuned for more updates.
