This story tagline is interesting, which is similar to ‘Red Dawn’, but that’s not only it to the story.
Similar to all current Scandinavian TV series, this political thriller has some elements including climate change issues that are currently happening within the region. With these environmental concerns escalating, the Norwegian government decides to stop all oil and gas production in the North Sea. But because there are limited resources available elsewhere, these drastic actions result in a world crisis. Stepping in on behalf of the EU, Russia invades the country with the sole aim of restarting Norway’s petroleum production. However, as the mission gets underway, more political conflicts take over the nation. As these issues escalate, more and more lives start to get affected.
