The highly awaited trailer of the extremely appreciated series The Bear is out. The first season has a rare 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is easily a near-perfect series.
Season two of The Bear is gearing up to deliver a nail-biting experience that transitions from the intense atmosphere of a restaurant kitchen to the equally intense challenge of opening a new restaurant within a tight timeframe.
The story revolves around Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) who made the tough choice to close his family’s Italian beef joint in Chicago and embark on the journey of launching a brand-new eatery. Alongside Carmy, Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) and Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) join forces and set a six-month deadline to bring the new establishment to life. This new challenge brings a lot of tasks, from meticulous menu planning to navigating the complexities of city permits and bureaucratic hurdles.
According to the official description, season two follows Carmy, Sydney, and Richie as they work tirelessly to transform their run-down sandwich joint into a cutting-edge hotspot. As they strip the restaurant down to its core, the trio embarks on personal transformative journeys, each grappling with their past and contemplating their future selves. Naturally, opening a new restaurant proves to be an even greater challenge than running one, and the team finds themselves juggling the maddening maze of permits and contractors while also diving into the artistic torment of menu planning. This transition also prompts a newfound emphasis on hospitality. As the entire staff is compelled to forge new bonds and push their limits, they not only discover the true meaning of service to diners but also to each other.
Joining the talented cast alongside the above mentioned are Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Matty Matheson. The only major addition to the second season is that of Molly Gordon who will make her debut in a recurring role.
The first season is streaming on Disney+Hotstar in India. The second season will do the same, hopefully from the same date as Hulu.
Although not official yet, The Bear Season 2 will arrive on Disney+Hotstar on June 22. Stay tuned to Binged for an official update.
