Himmat Singh is an incredible man with higher intelligence and great values. Although he is a fictional character from Special OPs there are possibilities that someone like him may exist. But, leaving aside speculations, let’s talk about Himmat Singh.
We saw the astounding team-leading and influencing capabilities of Himmat in the first season. But now when the second or let’s say 1.5th season is out, we saw the evolution that led to Himmat Singh becoming Himmat Singh.
Far-Sighted
Farukh was initially trying to get into the Army. When Himmat first encountered him on a zebra crossing, then he saw something that others failed to. Himmat deliberately failed him in the entrance exams and later convinced him to join as a secret agent.
Persuasive
It was not only in Farukh’s case but many more where we saw the power of persuasion that Himmat possessed. He was an expert in espionage that helped him receive information from Kasab, the pimp, the man who helped hack his daughter’s phone.
Linguistic
You may remember Colonel Hans Landa from Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds. He was an expert linguist on a whole next level. He could speak English, French, German and even Italian like a native poet in all four languages. Our Himmat Singh is not far behind them. He could speak fluent Arabic that helped him lock an important deal on the telephone itself. That is just a simple reflection of how intelligent he was.
Quick Witted
Remember the scene where Himmat orders the execution of Sonia within a second? He didn’t give it a second thought before suggesting Farukh. That showed how sharp he was when it comes to making decisions about something as important as someone’s life.
Determined
It took 19 years for Himmat to trace Ikhlaq Khan but he never gave up. He needed to catch him so he kept on waiting and trying for nearly two decades but never gave up. That consistency was powered by patriotism and Himmat Singh was always high on that.
Multitasker
His work involved extremely sensitive information and actions. But he never failed at multitasking. He knew how to manage all of them altogether. He was getting interrogated and ordering executions at the same time. He knew the exact way of separating his family and professional life.
All these qualities when combined with a discipline made Himmat Singh the legend he is in the Indian OTT.
