Hoichoi TV’s Byomkesh Bakshi Season 5 first look revealed!

Fans of the iconic Bengali detective, Byomkesh Bakshi, simply cannot have enough of their favourite crime-busting sleuth. That is primarily the reason why the Bengali web series Byomkesh Bakshi has enjoyed skyrocketing popularity, enough to keep it going for 4 seasons in two years, that is since 2017, when it first made an appearance in the digital domain.

The flagship original web show from Bengali streaming platform Hoichoi TV is now up for a new season, that is Season 5. And guess what — Hoichoi has just released the first look of the new season on its platform, to whet the appetites of true-blue Byomkesh Bakshi enthusiasts.

Based on the original Byomkesh Bakshi novels written by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay, the Bengali web show is directed by Soumik Halder, and stars Anirban Bhattacharya in the titular role. Suprobhat Das plays his trusted confidante, Ajit; while Ridhima Ghosh plays his wife, Satyabati.

Hoichoi TV announced the new season of the show by releasing its compelling first look, accompanied by an interesting caption –
“Byomkesh is coming back – with new challenges. Will Satyanweshi be able to save two men waiting for their impending doom?”
The new season is slated to start streaming in December 2019.
