Hoichoi TV’s Byomkesh Bakshi S5 Has a Release Date, and It’s This!

Hoichoi TV has just dropped the premiere date for its marquee detective show, Byomkesh Bakshi, Season 5. Fans of the show have been waiting breathlessly for the release date to be announced. And they’ll be happy to know that the web series will release on 10th January 2020 on the streaming platform.

Fans of Byomkesh Bakshi, the Bengali sleuth with legendary crime-investigating skills, have been loving the show that streams on the Bengali language OTT platform. So much so that four seasons have streamed on Hoichoi TV in two years, ever since the show debuted in 2017.

Based on the original Byomkesh Bakshi novels written by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay, the Bengali web show is directed by Soumik Halder, and stars Anirban Bhattacharya in the titular role. Suprobhat Das plays his trusted confidante, Ajit; while Ridhima Ghosh plays his wife, Satyabati.
