Season 3 of “The Boys” is not far from us. The brutal and bloody show will become more gross in Season 3 when the famous spin off series of The Boys “Herogasm” is arriving to the series with Soldier Boy played by Jensen Ackles. Bloodbaths will become more common in the show since Herogasm had delivered some nasty things in the comics.
During The Boys SXSW panel Jensen Ackles narrated an incident that proves how much darker the Herogasm episode is going to be and how much it impacted even on the crew. He said “How they did that I will not say, but…holy sh-t. I’ll give you just a little story”. He then narrated “I was working that day and I walked up to our camera operator who was eating a sandwich outside of set, he had his mask down. He was eating a sandwich, he had this really troubled look on his face and I said ‘hey man, what’s going on? How’s it going in there?’ and he goes, ‘Man, I’ve seen some sh-t today!’ And I was just like ‘Oh, Oh no!”
Season 3 of the Boys will mark the debut of Soldier Boy. Soldier Boy has quite a complicated history with Homelander in the comics. But the live action series will not adapt those narrations. Soldier Boy in Boys 3 will be more like a precursor of Homelander and similar to Captain America, a veteran World War hero returning to the field of action.
Amazon Prime has decided to air the first three episodes of the new season on June 3, and new episodes arriving weekly after that. “Herogasm,” the only episode title confirmed by the streamer at the time of their announcement, will premiere on June 24.
