India was the biggest market for HOOQ streaming service, which predominantly catered to the Asian markets. It has left the streamers and platforms banking on its licensed content in a limbo. It needs to be how they fill in the gap as the content HOOQ offered is very much in demand.
HOOQ has an impressive 80 million users by the time it announced the closure of service. The HOOQ team has issued a short and simple closing note to them. It has also answered a few questions that could be on everyone’s mind.
