Adivi Sesh’s biographical drama film ‘Major’ gets preponed and will now arrive ten days earlier in cinemas in select cities across India. Shot in Hindi and Telugu simultaneously and helmed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, ‘Major’ will now release in cinemas on 24th May, 2022 in 9 cities.
Touted as Indian cinema’s first ever pre release film screenings to audience nation wide, ‘Major’ will have a early release in 9 cities including Delhi (PVR), Jaipur (Cinépolis), Lucknow (Carnival Cinemas), Ahmedabad (Miraj Cinemas), Mumbai (PVR), Pune (Cinépolis), Hyderabad (AMB Cinemas), Bengaluru (Cinépolis) and Kochi (PVR).
The makers have launched this unique initiative in association with Book My show and announcing the same wrote on social media,

Other than the above mentioned 9 cities, ‘Major’ will release as scheduled on 3rd June, 2022 in rest of the country.
Starring Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murali Sharma in prominent roles, ‘Major’ is a film inspired from true events that follows the story of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan and how he saved multiple lives before being martyred during the terrorist attack on Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai on 26th November, 2008.
Adivi Sesh is making his Hindi film debut with ‘Major’ which he has also written. The film is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and is produced by Mahesh Babu, Anurag Reddy and Sharath Chandra. The production companies bankrolling the film are Sony Pictures International Productions, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment and A+S Movies.
