HOT NEWS! HBO Max’s ‘Love and Death’ Is Now On Prime Video

Amidst the exhilarating news of HBO content acquisition by Jio Cinema, there’s a tiny surprise for the Amazon Prime Video subscribers.

Interestingly enough HBO Max’s highly anticipated new series ‘Love and Death’ whose first three episodes premiered on Thursday on the platform are now also available on Amazon Prime Video.

Most astonishing part here is that despite the show’s popularity Amazon Prime Video made no noise about ‘Love and Death’ landing on the platform.

HBO content left Disney+ Hotstar by the end of March this year and fans had been eagerly waiting for its return to India. Now that we know about the Warner Bros. deal with Jio Cinema, it’s quite intriguing why one show would silently and simultaneously make its way to Amazon Prime Video.

While the reason for the above remains unknown, it’s definitely a happy surprise for the fans. ‘Love and Death’ is a riveting drama written by David E. Kelley and directed by Lesli Linka Glatter. It tells the true story of Candy and Pat Montgomery and Betty and Allan Gore – two churchgoing couples enjoying their smalltown Texas life, until an extramarital affair leads somebody to pick up an axe.

A seven episode Max Original series, ‘Love and Death’ stars Elizabeth Olsen, Jesse Plemons, Lily Rabe, Patrick Fugit, Krysten Ritter, Tom Pelphrey, Keir Gilchrist and Elizabeth Marvel.
