HOT NEWS! Korean Noir ‘Night In Paradise’ Gets A Release Date On Netflix

Netflix has announced the release date and the first look of the much anticipated Korean noir film ‘Night In Paradise’. Written and directed by Park Hoon-jung, known for his noir genre films including intense storytelling and action scenes, ‘Night In Paradise’ will premiere globally on Netflix on 9th April, 2021.

As per the official synopsis, ‘Night In Paradise’ on Netflix “tells a story of a man targeted by a criminal organization and a woman on the verge of life and death”. It is the only Korean film to have received an out of competition selection for the 77th Venice International Film Festival.

Having received worldwide acclaim, many have marked ‘Night In Paradise’ as a must watch Korean film. The movie stars Um Tae-goo (‘The Age of Shadows’, ‘The Great Battle’), Jeon Yeo-been (‘After My Death’) , Cha Seoung-won (‘Believer’) among others.

Previous credits of director Park Hoon-jung include ‘The Unjust’, ‘I Saw the Devil’, ‘New World’, ‘V.I.P.’, ‘The Witch: Part 1’ and ‘The Subversion’. These various hits have established him as a great filmmaker in the Korean film industry. He skilfully weaves stylistic elements into action-driven plots.

‘Night In Paradise’ has been produced by Goldmoon and co-produced by Peppermint & company, Inc. It will launch in over 190 countries only on Netflix on 9th April, 2021.
