HOT NEWS! ‘The Circle’ & ‘Too Hot To Handle’ Are Returning To Netflix

Netflix is bringing back two of its biggest unscripted competition series, ‘The Circle’ and ‘Too Hot To Handle’ with brand new seasons this April.

‘The Circle’ debuted in January last year and followed a unique premise where it challenged players to quarantine in their individual apartments and only communicate with each other via social media. Later in April 2020 came the first season of ‘Too Hot To Handle’ and was quick to turn heads around the world. It was based on a dating competition where the prize money hinged on players keeping their hands off each other, the seemingly outrageous setup suddenly felt much more relatable.

While the début seasons of these reality shows became quite popular, Netflix plans to make these new season more exciting by adding new twists and surprises to keep the games fresh with a set of all new players. The streaming giant has also experimented with the release format this time, allowing the viewers to dissect and dish on every step of the competition as it unfolds.

As per Netflix’s official synopsis, season 2 of ‘The Circle’, hosted by Michael Buteau, returns bigger and better, with more twists, turns, and shade thrown in all 13 episodes! A cast of eight new contestants enter The Circle, where they flirt, befriend, piss off, and compete in challenges against each other on a unique social media platform to earn the ultimate cash prize as top influencer. With $100k on the line, will they be able to earn clout and figure out who is real and who is a catfish?

The episodes of ‘The Circle will come out ominous a group of four and will premiere every Wednesday starting from April 14th.

The 13 part series will release as follows:
April 14: Episodes 1-4
April 21: Episodes 5-8
April 28: Episodes 9-12
May 5: Finale

The Circle‘ has been executive produced by Stephen Lambert, Tim Harcourt, Jo Harcourt Smith, and Toni Ireland for Studio Lambert; Richard Foster and Chet Fenster for Motion Content Group. The production companies behind the show are Studio Lambert and Motion Content Group.

As for ‘Too Hot To Handle’, the world’s hottest no dating dating show will be back with ten sexy new singles. Anyone who dares to break the rules of no kissing, no heavy petting, and no self-gratification of any kind will see the $100,000 prize drop faster than our contestants’ libido in the least sexy vacation getaway of their lives.

Developed by Laura Gibson and Charlie Bennett and produced by Thames and Talkback (Fremantle labels), new episodes of ‘Too Hot To Handle’ will release on Wednesday in June. Thames Productions’ Amelia Brown, Saul Fearnley and Ros Coward and Talkback’s Jonno Richards serves as the show’s executive producers.
