Disney+Hotstar is celebrating Disney+ day on its platform. Unlike last year, this time is going to be big for the Indian titles as well. They’ll find a release date and updates which will give them global exposure just because they are a part of the illustrious DisneyPlus Day.
Regardless, the first announcement from India is out and it is Lootere. The highly celebrated filmmaker Hansal Mehta is directing the show which is perhaps based on the tussle between the Indian Navy and the enemies in the water.
It will be headlined by Rajat Kapoor. You might remember the cameo of Rajat Kapoor in Hansal Mehta’s very own “Scam 1992”. The cameo left an exceptional impact on the audience as Kapoor unleashed terror on the screen with his intense eyes and dialogues.
Imagining a whole series with them being in the works is great excitement for cinephiles.
The show claims to show a saga of greed, survival, terror, and chaos. The first look has strong BGM and we can sense some high-octane visuals from the series. So, Lootere is promising in every way possible and they couldn’t have chosen a better day to announce it.
Mind you that Hotstar has already started their job and they didn’t wait for the American timing of the event.
