‘House of the Dragon’ E7 Is Going to Be Extra Special. Here’s Why

The massively mounted ‘Game of Thrones’ prequel series ‘House of the Dragon’ started streaming from August on HBO Max and in India on the Disney+ Hotstar OTT platform. Until now, six episodes have been released and they have all garnered rave reviews from audiences across the globe. And now, all eyes are now on the much-anticipated Episode-7 titled ‘Driftmark’ of the ‘House of the Dragon’ series. And here is why we think this episode is going to be extra special.

‘House of the Dragon’ Episode-7 has been directed by two-time Primetime Emmy Award-winner Miguel Sapochnik. The talented filmmaker has previously also directed two of the highest rated episodes of the parent series ‘Game of Thrones’. These were the final two episodes of ‘Game of Thrones’ Season-6 namely ‘Battle of the Bastards’ and ‘The Winds of Winter’, respectively.

Besides, Miguel Sapochnik had also directed episodes of some top-notch shows like ‘Altered Carbon’, ‘True Detective’, ‘Fringe’, and ‘House MD’, to name a few. Just before ‘House of the Dragon’, he had helmed the Tom Hanks starrer post-apocalyptic survival drama movie ‘Finch’.

Besides Miguel Sapochnik being behind the camera for ‘House of the Dragon’ E7, the forthcoming episode is also expected to feature some interesting plot points especially after the shocking plot twist at the end of the sixth episode (strategic murders by Larys Strong). Moreover, E7 will also set the right tone for the show’s final three episodes. So, Episode-7 should definitely be worth waiting for.

The ‘House of the Dragon’ series is based on George R. R. Martin’s 2018 fantasy novel ‘Fire & Blood’ and the goings-on takes place around two centuries before the events of ‘Game of Thrones’ and revolves around the beginning of the end of House Targaryen.
