House Of The Dragon To Release In June

Though Game Of Thrones didn’t have a sweet farewell, its sister show House Of The Dragon did spread some fire on television. Standing at 8.4 on IMDb, though the ratings are miles apart from GOT, it is far from leaving a bad taste in the mouth.

Unlike GOT, House Of The Dragon is taking its time and isn’t approaching the One Season A Year model. And because of the massive hype and delays in release, fans are desperately waiting for the next season.

Now, we have an exciting update for the fans.

Reports state that HBO will be streaming the show in June.

During an interview at Morgan Stanley’s Technology, Media, and Telecom conference, Warner Bros. Discovery streaming and gaming chief J.B. Perrette disclosed the launch month for the second season of the “Game of Thrones” spinoff, “House of the Dragon.”

Although not specifying the exact date, it’s the most detailed information shared to date, aligning with earlier hints from HBO chief Casey Bloys and Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav.

Talking about the second season, it will feature the major cast members from last season, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Eve Best, and Steve Toussaint, along with other names.

The second season started filming in April of 2023, in Leverkusen, and was unaffected by the strike, so it wasn’t hit with much delay, and the production is set to finish soon.
