How Are the Two Episodes of Bad Cop? Just too BAD

Bad Cop is now streaming on Disney+Hotstar. Before the release, we said that the recipe looked perfect with the ingredients. Anurag Kashyap as a maniac villain, Gulshan Devaiah as a cop and a mind-blowing way of telling the story.

Sad, but all those ingredients were bad, or let’s say, rotten. The first two episodes are a complete massacre as it doesn’t live up to the expectations of the audience.

It is poorly executed and suffers through a very predictable hamartia. You must be aware that such crazy presentations are very risky. If rightly done, as in films like Django Unchained then they become a memorable work of genius.

But, if the director fails to control that craziness then it becomes intolerable too. Sadly, Bad Cop falls into the second category.

The story of Bad Cop is outdated and so is the presentation. Well, it is too early to downright reject the show as it may control itself in the subsequent episodes but normally such a magic does not happen.

We wish the makers had done the job better but unfortunately, they didn’t. This resulted in a messy plot and unbearable execution.
